After washing the car noticed some marks which have started to rust abit. It’s happened on both sides Left and Right.

I’m sure when I picked up the car this wasn’t there, is this normal ?

Mine looks the same, assumed they were just welds from manufacture. No rust on mine so far though.

I have the same thing…must be how they come from factory.

Bought new M340i in Aug 24 and noticed same marks on exhaust tips. Dealer ordered new ones and they had same marks so exists as part of manufacturing process. Not necessarily happy with response as given value and quality of car this simly looks bad and needs to be reported as feedback to the plant.
