Coils and Plugs
Hi, I am somewhat new here.
I have a 2019 330 xdrive. Stage 1 MG Flashed. It’s a blast to drive and quicker than my old 335 on the low end, but once I hit 60 I can feel I’m not as fast as my old car. My car has the original plugs and coils. I just hit 50k miles and am thinking I should change the coils and plugs. I saw dinan coils available that I will buy, anyone not like these or are they good? Second question, plugs. Someone mentioned I should run “1 step colder” for my tuned car. What does that mean? What plug might that be? I live in Lake Tahoe and often wake up to 10 degrees outside in the winter. Not sure if that has anything to do with the plug type I use but any input appreciated. |

Hey! I change my spark plugs every 30k km and I recommend NGK 94201 (which are "colder" than stock)
I think you should change those coils too. Also get a ODB2 dongle and read codes. If you have any problems with ignition - it will store the codes in memory so you can read it with the device |
