Experience on CrossClimate 2

Currently have the Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season RFT (225/45-R18). Haven’t decided on what I want for (or if I want) summer setup yet.

But had a small road trip yesterday and found that the Pirelli were not confidence inspiring in snow. I never got stuck, but I rarely felt connected to the road.

Normally, I’d opt for Blizzaks or some dedicated winters. But we don’t experience as much snow + the temp fluctuations make it annoying to drive wingers when it’s 50.

I had a couple experiences with CrossClimate 2 in my old WRX. Is anyone running this and do you like it? Did you take a hit in fuel economy?
