I had an uber home from the airport that was a 2021 330e and it had the same exact click that I'm experiencing in my car. While in the back seat, it sounded like it was coming from inside the car but very difficult to tell. I will get this replaced first and then go for dissembling the rear shelf to see if anything is back there. I'll report back but I imagine I'll be a month before I know. |

Hey everyone!
I've run into an issue. There’s a slight knocking sound coming from behind the dashboard. It only happens when the climate control is on heating and the car is warmed up. If I turn off the climate control, the sound stops. I read somewhere that it might be some pipes knocking against each other, and that there was a recall for this issue. Has anyone else encountered this problem? |

Im having a hard time getting rid of a rattle from the rear. It really sounds like it’s coming from rear deck. I took apart the rear deck yesterday but really couldn’t see anything that is causing this sound. It’s not a buzzing sound but more like a tapping. I’ve stuffed foam against the glass to see if that helps but nothing so far. I brought it to the dealer last week and they heard it and claimed it was the seat latches and used some special grease. They claimed it fixed it but of course not ha.
Any other suggestions beside turning up the volume ha. Here is a clip of the noise. It sounds like a pen tapping on something in rear but impossible to pin point. https://jmp.sh/s/epJFwi0Jdy876VIUI1Jg |

I love my G26 to death but over the last half an year of ownership, it's accumulated several noises that are kind of driving me crazy. Is it normal for noises to come from so many places?
1. A clicking sound while driving, seemingly coming from the seatbelt holder in the B pillar, right next to my ear. It occurs only when it's cold outside and only in the first ~20 minutes of driving. I tried showing that to a dealer but it conveniently disappeared, as it's very very occasional. 2. All the frameless windows constantly squeak to a varying degree and they often bring up dirt that makes it impossible to see out that particular side window, until I clean it up. I normally almost never open my windows anyway but with those frameless doors, they roll down and up each time the door is opened, each time resulting in a squeak. The dealer thoroughly cleaned my seals but to no avail. They now proposed to replace them but I'm very hesitant about that. I thought about greasing the seals somehow but my detailing guy advised me against that. 3. My front wipers started squeaking, but only occasionally, right when they start to go up from the bottom position. It almost drove me crazy during a snowstorm the other day. I tried wiping them thoroughly with alcohol tissues but it didn't seem to fix it completely. Possibly it's just me that hasn't done a great job cleaning? 4. When I'm driving slowly, right after/before I press/depress the gas pedal slightly, a slight thud from below the car is both heard and felt. Maybe that's normal for a ZF transmission? 5. When manoeuvring in a tight space (e.g. parking), as I turn the steering wheel both ways, almost full motion, sometimes there would be a slight creak from it, almost as if it's coming from the steering column a bit down. 6. Sometimes the steering wheel will get creaky out of nowhere. As if the steering wheel and the plastic on/in it creek. Initially I thought it happened only during very hot sunny weather but it recently did it too, and it was very cold and gloomy outside. 7. Rattly noise from the rear, almost like paper bags being thrown around, while driving on uneven surfaces, accelerating or breaking harder, or during fast tight cornering (i.e. when some G forces are applied). It's constant and is driving me crazy. A friend of mine managed to narrow it down to the inner side of the right C pillar, somewhere in the speaker area. 8. Something that happens only in the summer and only after a very long driving session (about 2+ hours of driving in), the front suspension would start clunking on every ondulation. Holding the steering wheel, the feeling is as if my front wheels are loose. I've researched a bit on that and it seems like it has something to do with the tie rods. My dealer told me they weren't aware of such an issue and wanted to see the problem for themselves first, which would be really hard, provided the criteria necessary to reproduce the problem. Hello everyone,
I’m writing this post out of desperation because I don’t know what else to do with my car. From the day it was delivered to me less than 13 months ago, I noticed an issue and immediately reported it to my dealer. Since then, the car has spent more than 73 nights in their facilities, and they have been unable to fix it. The penultimate time I brought the car in, after it had been in the shop for 48 days, they told me the problem was a loose clip, which they repositioned. Two days later, the noise came back. I returned to the shop, and this time they replaced the door speaker, but the issue persists. Main Issue The noise is audible in any driving mode but is most noticeable in Sport and Sport+, as it occurs around a specific RPM range, and the car’s audio volume increases in these modes. With the new speaker, the noise isn’t as loud but is still present. From the first day, I sent them a thread from this forum (which, unfortunately, is now lost) that detailed steps to resolve what I believe to be the same issue but affecting the central dashboard speaker. They haven’t followed up on this. View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com View post on imgur.com Could someone give me some idea of what to do to resolve this? |
