2025 m440 software issues?

I wasn't able to come across any topics for the 2025 m440. hopefully there are no duplicates.

i've had my car for a few months now but only put on about 2,000 miles. i've come across some issues that appear to be on some of the other models x3/x5, and i4 to name a few.

i've had two CEL's in about 2 months time. both went on for a day and then reset the day after. the second time it did mention a drive train malfunction with reduced power, however it did not appear to have reduced power or noises, or any issues for that matter.

on the screen to the right occasionally, flickers black for a split section almost so quickly that if you're not watching you won't notice. ive been able to remedy this issue by holding down the volume knob. i noticed this happens when the radio is on and the screen doesn't transition into the full-screen radio channel and in-car play.

thirdly yesterday (for the first and only time at this point) after a short commute to work i locked the door and the alarm went off. when i unlocked it and locked it again it repeated for about three processes until it was able to be locked without the alarm going off. i logged out of the mybmw app and back in. unsure if it was related. however prior to the commute i used the auto climate feature.

i plan on taking the car in for service but i am afraid that without it doing it while at the shop they may not be able to find any issues.

Just schedule the service and talk to service manager. They can find all the ECU logs even key reads on his desk will show all the alarms happened recently that you can see on his computer screen.
