2024 M340 Xdrive bought new. I cannot turn off these updates at all. The option is greyed out and the updates from the app keep turning back on. I can see the car has not been updated since July and every time I start the car it asks me to update which I always decline. Do these updates only go through if dealer does them or if you manually do it? The car is femto unlocked and do not want to have any problems.

That does not work and they automatically turn them back on. I had to sign in with my bmw profile on the car. I guess with guest you cannot make certain setting changes.

You still have to accept/initiate the update. It won't automatically install anything without intervention.
