Arctic Race Blue vs Skyscraper Grey

Trying to pick a color! I know there are plenty ARB photos on the 4 series coupe, but hoping some folks could post any pics of their 3 series in that color.

I know the color is new to the 3 series as of 2025 but hoping there’s a few of you here. I’ve seen plenty of the Skyscraper Grey, just not much of Arctic race blue on the 3 series.

Also curious your thoughts on the 2 colors!

Thank you!
Jim

I found one arctic race blue at a local dealership (on a 4 series), compared it to skyscraper grey on a 2025 330i. The Arctic Race Blue is quite vibrant in direct sunlight, less so when cloudy. Skyscraper grey is just that - grey. YMMV.

I wish I liked this more. Such a strange color depending on the lighting. I’ve seen photos where I’m absolutely in love with it. Then there are photos like this where I’m just like “meh..”

That touring is so purtyyyyyyyyyy. The meh comment above is funny because I feel the same way about Cognac Interior. Sometimes I'm like ehhh should I have got that over Tacora red and then other times I'm like "it's just tan." I don't think I had seen ARB before this thread - I think it's a pretty cool looking color and vote for it over Skyscraper. But then again I'm driving around in Mineral Gray.

No picture just comment. When I was buying my used m440i I went to see a couple in ARB and its a love hate colour. Depending on the lighting it sometimes looks good but most times too plain.

I agree 100%. I have seen it in person. But only in one lighting condition, and it wasn’t that great. But certain photos have been amazing!

Goldilocks blue for me.. Of course I own it 😄.
Not as loud as portimao and doesn't turn black like tanzanite. Wanted a blue car after years of silver and black.

Yes! I saw these photos online as I was searching for the color! This looks great. Like you, I wanted something more subtle than a bright blue, but also something that doesn’t look black.

Would you say these photos are a good “average” of what the car look like?

Yep. I think so. Sunny the metallic comes out. Flat in shade. I like it both ways.

ARB without question - If I could have got it on my 440 GC, I would have ordered - I'm blue guy!

+1 on this

when I was ordering my M440i GC. I saw arctic blue color but it only comes in Coupe. Actually, I told my son to get the car in this color as GC is his ride.

if it would have been available for GC, this would be on his order. such as nice color.

I like it. Above link is under bright light and looks lighter. Color varies a lot based on light level. Would suggest seeing in person. Lots of pics on dealer websites.

I was also between ARB, skyscraper, and Dravit. I'm pretty happy I went with ARB overall.

Personally I think under the color can be a bit dull under certain lighting, but in darker areas is when I think it looks amazing.

It's also not a very common color (yet) so another big pro for me
