Easy bolt-on performance mods?

2020 m340ix with adaptive suspension

Are there any easy bolt-on (less than 4-5 hours labor) performance mods?

I would like better steering and less body roll…

I don’t want to change ride height. Was thinking sway bars, braces, lower control arms, etc.

Thanks!

I'd say your easiest route is body braces. KC Designs has the best offering and you can get free shipping from Kies(some pieces are sold out right now). I have the front and rear subframe braces as well as the 4 point underbody brace and Dinan strut tower brace. In combination it did make a noticeable difference in hard cornering.

Past that I'd say the next easiest thing is camber plates. Expensive and probably only worth it if you want to track your car. DIY install isn't too bad if you're experienced turning a wrench.

Sway bars are pretty labor intensive. Involves dropping the subframe and disconnecting the steering rack etc. Not an easy DIY. I'll be tackling this over the winter on my M340i Xdrive. Confident I can do it but not looking forward to it.
Here's an older discussion around sway bar upgrade/install

Dinan monoballs will improve steering feel and positive NVH.

Which Camber Plates do you recommend, I plan on tracking my car a few times a year and want to be ready.

I have used Millway street top mounts on both my F87 M2 and my F87 M2 Comp and had no issues whatsoever.

The subpar quality you refer to is people referring to the race versions which are noisy. The street ones do not suffer with this at all.
