All Season tires for 330i G20
I'm looking for a new tires for my 330i G20. I'd like to try the all season tires since it doesn't snow a lot where I live (there is probably less than 10 days a year when it heavily snows). My priority is dry/wet driving, comfort (low noise) and low rolling resistance.
Currently I have tires with the following params: front: 225/40R19 93Y rear: 255/35R19 96Y I assume I should get new ones with exactly the same params so my search is a somewhat narrowed. A lot of people recommend Pilot Sport A/S but unfortunately I can't get them in my size where I live :/. I went through couple of reviews including one from tyrereviews.com and I'm leaning towards the Continental AllSeasonContact 2 or maybe Michelin CrossClimate 2. Does anyone have any opinion on these or other recommendations for this sizes? |

Have you considered the CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS? I used DWS06 (the previous gen) on a 2008 C350 that I loved (so much so that I kept that car for almost ten years). I was extremely happy with the Contis' performance in the areas you mention (except rolling resistance, which I have no idea about -- I put handling first, and they were fantastic in the wet). My understanding is that the "Plus" are a substantial improvement.

I’m in a similar boat. Contemplating the Continental DWS06 Plus and the Michelin Primacy Tour A/S. Priorities mostly comfort, wet traction, road noise. Will be switching to winter tires still during the winter.

So, what’s everyone’s opinions on the Michelin Cross Climate 2 setup for the 330 x drive? Heard mixed reviews, but mostly positive especially when it comes to winter weather. I used to run Michelin Pilot Sport all seasons on my N54 335 RWD and I loved them, they just didn’t last that long with my “spirited driving” 💀 but I need a new set and I was wondering if anyone’s thrown a set on their 330 x drive.

I know it’s not the same car, but we have CC2’s on our SUV and absolutely love them. They grip the road in the rain better than any tire I’ve had previously. They’re a bit heavy, but offer a softer and quieter driving experience. Definitely recommend them.

I think the Cross Climate 2 is not as sporty a tire as some of the alternatives, but a pretty good tire for all-weather use.

Recently ditched my all-season runflats. Only 5000 miles on them, and while they weren’t terrible, they really lacked grip and didn’t inspire confidence.
Initially was planning on CC2’s (had them on my WRX), but stumbled upon the Pirelli WeatherActives. These perform really well in wet conditions. But better than the CC2 in that regard. Also seem to match performance in every other aspect. Plowed through 6” snow; had to try really hard to slide. Pretty pleased with them. |

Just put on some Pirelli P Zero UHPs and love them. Quiet and comfortable. It's been snowing here since I put them on but I did have a cross state trip before that and they were great on the highway. Haven't been able to really test their grip since the weather has been bad but you can watch a great video on tire rack where they test the top uhps on believe it or not, the G20.
