OBDeleven
Hey there. I'm coming over from the Audi scene where a lot of coding was done with the OBDeleven tool. I was able to log in with my device last night on my 22 m440i that I just got to see what was in there.
I had functionality on the system on the non-VAG app. But it was much more limited. I could only use credits to make alterations, thankfully I had some from having the older version where you could get free ones from opening it every day, but I was able to turn off ASD with it. There are a handful of other options in the system, but it looks like Bimmercode is used to get to actual coding and programming. Is that correct? Like the BMW version of the long coding that I would do on a VAG car. |

BimmerCode also offers a selection of popular "one click" changes much like in the OBDeleven (but without extra cost . Search this forum for lots of information on BimmerCode "Expert mode". You also need BimmerLink for diagnostics. (There are other even more capable tools that might be needed if you are into retrofitting, that I'm not familiar with.)

Nobody mentions OBDEleven because there are better alternatives like BimmerUtility or BimmerCode. Their license is buy once, use as many times (and on as many cars) as you'd like, no credit-system like in OBDEleven.
Besides, those dedicated bmw apps can do much more things than OBDEleven. |
