Hi Fellow Owners,

Never thought I would find myself in this stupid situation.

Car: 2020 330i G21 258hp, engine code B48B20O1, milage 40k km

Car is EUROPE spec/market and I'm located in Germany.

I want to change my spark plugs and know that the right NGK spark plug number is NGK 96206. This is gen 2 correct number by NGK.
I removed old original factory spark plugs and they confirm the number should be NGK 96206 because label says SILZKGR8E8S
So far so good everyone would say - yes but no!

In Europe the NGK 96206 do not exist! This number is unknown in NGK Europe catalogue and not existing with any dealer.

According to NGK Europe part number is - NGK 95248 or SILZKGR8C8S

Does anyone know what is the difference between 8E8S and 8C8S NGKs?

I did put BMW OEM number 12 12 2455258 plugs for now which came as Champions, but car does not run well with them and puts codes.

I want to buy NGKs, but confused on numbering cause mine is in Europe and has 96206, but these are not existing/available for Europe?!

Any help would be appreciated.

Just before anyone asks, car is not imported - was produced in Munich and sold as Premium Selection by BMW official dealer

BMW number 12125A4EF60 will be superseding the old BMW number 12122455258.
This number is marked compatible for facelifted G2x/S58 cars and appears to be always BMW branded NGKs with index SILZKGR8E8S which is what I need.

If you want to go NGK route - NGK 95248 should be identical to NGK 96206 as confirmed by NGK specialists.
