A base model A90 3.0 Supra comes with the Brembo 4 piston calipers in front and the same 330i setup in the rear. I think you would be fine.

I just installed the M Sport brakes on my 330i. The front calipers are off a M340i and the rear are off a premium A90 Supra. Unfortunately, I am experiencing the mushy brake pedal issue. The car stops but I feel as though the stock floating calipers had more bite. I am currently running the stock brake booster and master cylinder. I just purchased a brake booster from a premium Supra and plan on installing it in the coming weeks. I am going to try coding the M Sport brakes first to see if that makes any difference and report back.

You definitely need the coding done.

My US-spec 330i M-sport had the crap gray brakes... I got a like new set (all four corners) of M-sport blue brakes off of an M340i. Local shop did the install, along with Turner stainless lines and Motul 660 fluid. They also recoded to M-sport.

The setup works amazing. I've had it about 18 months without issue... that's with Autobahn runs and Nordschleife laps too.

Great to know! I’ll get the coding done as soon as possible then. I didn’t bother getting SS brake lines since I I figured the stock brakes already had a good bite. If I can pull this off without changing the booster that’ll be awesome.

Got the sport brakes coded and it definitely feels way better now. Since I already bought the brake booster I’ll probably have that installed sometime in the near future.

So i am fine with existing non m sport floating grey calipers in rear? And just do coding for the sport brakes.

Yup, you should be good with that setup. You can get those rear calipers painted to match.

I don't mind grey caliper in rear at all. Just wanted to confirm operational functionality with m sport front brakes so i don't run into problems. One last question, can you upgrade size of rotors with stock grey calipers or just leave it like that?

Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade the size of the rotors with the stock rear calipers. I would leave it and perhaps swap the pads out with low dust ones. Here are a couple pictures with the setup you want. The Supra shares the same braking system and components as the G20.

Amazed that supra doesn't come with upgraded brakes.

Yup. The 2.0 Supra has the same base brakes as the 330i. Base 3.0 just has the front Brembo and premium 3.0 has the same front and rear M sport brakes. I think the M sport brakes provide adequate braking for the Supra. There’s a lot of aftermarket brake systems as well. I just love that certain parts are interchangeable between both platforms.

Is there a well regarded aftermarket brake from the Supra that would fit the standard non-Msport 330i?

You’ll have to check the brake pads that are available for the 2.0 Supra. I’ve seen brake pads from brands like EBC and Hawk.

The techs said they were aware of the brake booster issue and hoped I had one.
Where'd you get the install done in SoCal? I'm looking to go the same route for brakes. Thanks!

Took it to BMW. Because all the parts were genuine OEM, it was no problem. Get the full kit and the brake booster and let them do the work. For me, it was worth taking it to the pros and I think it was somewhere around $1200.
