retrofit blindspot detection

Hello everyone,
I’m new to the forum so apologies in advance if this has already been covered or if i’m on the wrong thread.
I have a 2020 BMW M340i that didn’t come with blind spot detection from the factory, and I’m wondering if it’s possible to retrofit OEM-style blind spot monitoring (the mirror warning lights, not an aftermarket camera system).

If it is possible:
• Does it require coding?
• Is it mostly plug-and-play, or does it involve running new wiring/modules?
• Has anyone here done it or had it done professionally?

Hello, I'm planning to upgrade my blind spots myself. This requires replacing the mirrors with lane assist, installing radars in the rear bumper and making a wiring harness from these radars, connecting the one at the back in the module, I think it's a rem us, a mirror folding switch and changing the installation of these mirrors. It's quite simple to do, of course, coding is best with esys.
