I am interested in the M cluster, and you sound legit, but what is a burble tune? Does this affect the car in any way, like voiding the warranty or affecting fuel efficiency?

Burble tune is flashing different calibration data from another region that has more burbles.
It´s still BMW software and that´s why it doesn´t require an unlock.

I also noticed the change after the last software upgrade on my 2023 330ix LCI. The start up animation feature in the HG ecu is gone. Wonder if there are expert codes to do it? It sounds like for whatever reason BMW decided this was a nice feature to take away from us. Just hope they don't get the idea to start charging for specific unlocks!

That's free enterprise... but the forum should not be exploited for selling services. There is probably something in the Ts and Cs about that. They should spend money with Google for advertising or see if a legit distributer is willing to risk their brand and customers with the "product". Just IMHO.

Hey man, do you have a DIY of this burble tune? Been searching it for months now and not a single soul mind sharing this, funny that everyone looks for these stuff but once they find it they gatekeep lol

In theory it´s just an old SWFK of a different region that still has burbles.

Search for Mrmegambo on instagram he does amazing coding work remotely. Anti dazzle, M display all that. I’ve seen him on the forums as well. Reach out and you won’t be disappointed.

MHD says they're working on updating idrive sport displays to scale with their OTS maps at some point this year. Hoping this will integrate natively with the new M Dash on iD8

Yes, xHP does show gear numbers in D.

yes in regular drive mode it will show gear numbers (e.g. D1 D2 D3)

got my M cluster module installed + coded in today. however my aftermarket chinese M1 M2 buttons no longer work, the way the kit is installed is that it splices in colored wires into my gear shifter console and then connects to a central module but now the buttons are unresponsive. anyone have this issue?


Edit: I have an LED paddle shifter kit from TDDCraft which comes with a companion OBD box that also has an OBD splitter wire. I had disconnected this to gain access to the original OBD port while doing the coding. Turns out once I re-plugged the OBD box back in the M1 M2 works again 🤦*♂️
