Hey, I owned one of this those. It was my first car and I loved it. 1964 Corvair Monza.

I did some tweaking including tubing exhaust headers and dual exhaust. It would beat higher HP rated 'vairs.

My girlfriend had a Corvair when we were kids. Her uncle fixed it up and gave it to her as a birthday gift when she was 17. Don't remember what year it was but it had a 4-speed manual transmission and was a blast to drive. I raced a Porsche 911 in that Corvair and beat the 911. Man, that was fun.
