Yes, huge difference in grip between the RFT and PS4S. Night and day.

I'm 100% percent sure that rear 255/35/19 goes with 8.5J from the factory.

Not saying I'd run such a set up on this car, I just want to know if it clears.
I'm sure you have to be clear with 225/35/19 on the front, here's the prove but with different offset:
SM-10s in Anthracite with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S Tires.
Front: 19x9" ET28 with 255/35-19
Rear: 19x10" ET38 with 275/35-19
Dinan Lowering Springs

As for me I really want 245/45/18 on 9J all around but I'm scare off wheel contact with spring cover on the front.
Riding quality and front grip should be much better.

As a product, the cross climate 2s are phenomenal on paper and I’m pretty sure over time I will really appreciate them, just a matter of the subconscious getting used to driving with these tired. Anyways, for the context of this thread, the size of 235/40-19 is great for the base square setup, I haven’t noticed any particular rubbing or pulling issues yet. I’ll report back after alignment in a week or two.
Any follow up post alignment? I’m considering doing the 235/40/19 non runflat setup as well

There is no issue whatsoever running this size. You don’t need spacers. It fits with no issues.

Also, just for reference. This is how 235/40/19 PS4S fits with 12mm front and 15mm rear spacers.

Hi guys, I have a set of 20x 8.5 245/35/20 front and 20x9.5 275/30/20 rear wheels and tires with tpms. Front and rears are pirelli pzeros and also comes with two pairs of rear continental conti sport contact 6 tires with 8.5-9/32nds on all four. Front two wheels have about two inches of wheel rash from when I was running smaller tires. No other damage, Located in NorCal. Looking for 2800 for everything but willing to head out reasonable offers! Fitted on my m340i pictures are actual from my car without spacers and on stock suspension height !

I would expect so.

All the acceleration times the magazines report are with the optional high performance tire package with 255 PS4S rear tires. The Pirelli all season run flats are much worse for grip.

Nice pic from Sonoma! I think I've seen your car before on track. I'm usually in my M3 at track days.

I do recall seeing an M3 at Sonoma two weeks ago! Was that you? Lol
There is another G20 as well with apex VS-5RS bronze wheels that runs in the advanced group.

I think the time I saw your car was with speed sf. I was in my friend’s s2000 that time. Here’s my m3 at Sonoma. I’ll be at Thunderhill on Monday 5/29 next.

Ah, gotcha. Not this time. I might join my buddies back home in SoCal at Streets of Willow that same Monday since I’ll be down in LA visiting family for the holiday weekend.
Which group are you going to T-Hill with?

I am going with OnGrid this weekend. They are doing both Thunderhill east and west on the same day. I did it with them last year as well. It's a fun event where you can do 2 tracks on the same day. By lunch time, you'd have done 8 track sessions already... super tiring but you get a ton of seat time.

I've been tracking for 20+ years so most local tracks I've done a few times already. Thunderhill east is my "home" course as that was what I first tracked back in college.

Wow! That’s a neat setup. I’ll have to join that next time. T-Hill east seems to be my cars preferred track with “easy” turns as compared to others, lol. G20 is too heavy and loose for other tight tracks.
