yea that was my point, you can carry only the digital key like in your wallet or even apple wallet instead of two key fobs.

Well the ship departed yesterday, and I'm still in 160 . I did check a few other VIN's that were in 193 (at the port) since last week, and those didn't update either. Investigated further and there isn't much mention of the "Bravery Ace" here or on other BMW message boards - so perhaps it's not even used for BMW transport. No sign of another NJ/NY bound vehicle carrier for the next 2 weeks. I really need this car by the first week in September before my rate lock expires.

That's the problem I'm having. My car is stuck at the VPC in Galveston and my rate lock expires later in the month. Usually they pop out of the VPC in a matter of days. Mine will have been there two weeks on Sunday. I hope you're leaves soon!

Thanks. BTW, I didn't even know about the digital key thing until you explained it. I did see on my paperwork that it was deleted. I also saw the $500 option for wireless charging which I didn't think was worth $500 (they reduced the price of this option for 2023's). Hoping you'll get the phone call today, telling you that your car is on the way to the dealer!

The reason it's 500 is because it comes with wireless, and Wi-Fi hotspot in the car.

You can upgrade to the personal 5G for additional cost for phone calls and all that jazz.

Hi all, first post here... ordered a '23 m340i xDrive on 7/9 to replace my '19 330i and still no production number so I've been stalking the boards to see if any delivered yet. I was just told Wed. that the factory shut for a month and they don't expect mine to get scheduled until maybe September. In the meantime, they gave me a hell of a deal on a '22 m340i in Individual Imola Red and M Performance wheels that the customer bailed on. That will preserve my trade-in capital and incentives at least until my order arrives.

If you arent given a production #, the dealership doesnt have an allocation for your build. Up to you to decide whether you want to jump ship to another dealership that has an allocation that is on track for production.

Thanks... I was wondering how folks here were getting the prod #s so quick. They were supposed to have a spot but I was suspecting something got screwed up. That is probably why they extended the offer on the '22. They covered all my closing costs except the monthly payment, so I'm contently waiting as opposed to impatiently waiting I suppose.

I placed my order around July 16th. Still says Order Received. Odd because it seems everyone gets pushed to scheduled for production within 1 to 5 business days. I wonder what the holdup could be?

Same here dude. My car has been at port since 7/6. I already negotiated a deal for a G26 en route to the dealer. Different color and interior but I'm not trying to wait any more

Whats worse its that vessels headed to galveston (port mine is going to) keep going to bremerhaven and leaving without mine aboard.

I'm going to Baltimore and there have been at least 6 in the past month. One leaves tomorrow and if my car isn't on it, I'm going to buy one on the ground already.

I placed my order around 6/15 with an available allocation from my dealer. The build sheet lists it as priority 1 sold, and production was completed on 7/4 and at port as of 7/6. My car moved to in transit on 7/28 for about 12 hours and reverted back to at port. I called the Genius line and they now say it was stuck in transport from the factory to port from 7/6-7/28 and as of 7/28 it is now officially at port. I expect it's going to remain there for a few more weeks until it gets on a vessel. In all honesty the excitement is gone and I'm now just looking to get into a car that's already stateside, as the delays are beyond ridiculous.
