Official PORTIMAO BLUE G20/G22 Thread

I took delivery a couple weeks ago and the car just got detailed while I'm out of town for the weekend. Paint, trim, wheels and calipers got coated after a paint correction. Can't wait to get home to see it. I've put 480 miles on it so far and I'm loving it

yeah two different parts, the middle diffuser piece snaps into the main bumper part, there's gloss black and carbon fiber versions.

Whole area under the body color painted area gets changed, it's a easy install just gotta wrestle plastic a bit to get it all snapped out/in.

Portimao Blue is such a gorgeous colour and I love how the gloss black trim/wheels complement it so well. Seems like there are many others who have this combo too!

I am building a new 3 series LCI. Colour Portimao Blue with M Sport Pro Package with 792 M Bicolour Jet Black. It's similar to above. Only issue I am having is the M Sport package Pro forces red M sport brakes. I am really not feeling the Red brakes on the blue. I feel the pop is a bit to much or the contrast. You can reselect blue calipers. May have to do it at the dealership though!

Hi all, newish M440i owner in PB here. I was wondering if anyone has a 440 in PB with any M carbon parts on it? Originally I was thinking carbon splitter, the lower intake piece and maybe real spoiler, but having had the car a few weeks I am really torn between the body color spoiler etc and carbon. I was wondering if anyone had any photos of their PB with any carbon parts on it? I have seen some of the 340 but some of the parts are slightly different of course. Also the brochures online etc are not the best representation.

What would you do - stay body color/black or go carbon?

Love the Portimao Blue with black 791M wheels, looks good on everything.

Our G20 330i has been trucking along great. Photo is from a few weeks ago but oh well. It was clean that day.

I think either color would look sensational, in the right light and with a correctly applied layer of ceramic coating.

If you want a color that stands out, go for the portimao blue. If you want a more understated color, go with the skyscaper grey.

Either way you won't be disappointed.
