Being lowered definitely changes the way more aggressive wheels look

Thanks for all the valuable inputs! I want to upgrade my M340i square 225 setup to square 235 ps4s setup, Tires Rack tells me it will fit but my BMW dealer do not recommend me to do that and says it will void my warranty. Can anyone comment on this? Thanks!

It’s the traditional argument that dealers make. What damage will the upsizing do? None. In fact, you will have more tire to protect the wheel more. I wouldn’t be concerned about “voiding warranty” over 10mm larger tires, lol.

You are right, I install 235/40/19 ps4s square today and they look good! America Tires set the pressure to 34 psi all around, do you have any recommendation on the pressure?

34 psi cold is a good start. During causal street driving, I aim for 36-38 psi HOT.

My set up is "square" in terms of tire width, but I went 19" in the fronts and 20" rears: 255/35/19 x 255/30/20. I went with +25 offset front and rear, no spacers needed.

Hi All:

Will 255 all around square setup work with a stock (not lowered) 2023 xdrive car? I know that I will need 9 inch wide wheels.

Thanks

255/35/19 will work on 9" wheels square. 265/35/19 will as well, depending on the specific tire; some may require a spacer. Apex Wheels has a good guide.

Indeed. And, a great business practice. I'm sure it cuts back heavily on the questions they'd get otherwise.

I have a 2024 M340i xDrive. Can I install a 19x8.5 squared wheels onto it? Any downside?

I can confirm, I am currently running 19x9 ET25 255/35/19 all around on stock Adaptive M Suspension on my 2020 m340i.

No rubbing or any problems so far (2 months)

Good to know! Do you mind uploading some pics? I’m thinking of 255/40/18 square on my m340ix. Not sure wheels or offset yet as availability in 18s isn’t great.

Yeah i have a few pictures, I’m debating going lowering springs but it seems that that you may need the adjustability of coils to prevent rubbing with a 19x9 rim

Quick question for those that are Xdrive with Adaptive suspension, on the stock 19x8 791m and went 245/35/19 squared. Did y’all have any issues with rubbing or any problems at all? Need spacers for a flush fit? Want to confirm before ordering. Tia
