RedBull seems setup for a good race in terms of pace and tires but now it all depends on how much grip there is off the racing line. Especially with Max being such a late braker.

The tire situation is unpredictable . Because there's a chance of Miami rain ..

This weekend Ferrari will be stronger with Sainz in the front row ...

Let's say : Under 'normal circumstances ...Because with Ferrari we never know !

Yeah that's right... It'll be interesting if it rains in this track.

It would be interesting. Sergio will start on hard tires - NO QUESTION.

Max maybe could go Med -> Med but tomorrow temps will be higher.

I trust in the lion.

If it rains, Max will win.

Idk Im not sure what will happen, I know Ferrari is going to be tougher to beat now since they have a new ers system + 2 cars on the front.

The Ferrari's will suffer more from tire graining than the Red Bull's .

At least if the track remains dry ...

IDK, he has the least amount of track time vs. the others so he might struggle.

Less wear and tear on the machinery is a plus then but all to be seen.

If it rains , It'll be very dangerous because the Miami asphalt layer is very slippery ..

And with wet and dry spots It's even worse ...

Oh...Man . I can't wait !

So long as the boats don't float onto the track in a downpour

Let's not forget, Max was on provisional pole until the checker with 4 quick laps on Friday.

I know I'm a fan but underestimating the champion is a bad move.

Well during practice I thought Merc had made some gains. But alas they seem to be down similar amount to previous races, maybe up a .1 sec at best. This track surface, high temps, slower corners are ideal for Merc's current car and situation. Not a lot of high speed corners to bounce through, smooth new surface, and higher temps for tires to get up to temp quicker.

He has to get in front of Sainz at the start.

Generally they run friday practice engines out of the pool so wear and tear isn't a huge factor, track experience is more valuable - especially on a new track. Plus max has had 2 new gear boxes put in, so not a good look for redbull reliability.

Yet he is not infalliable to mistakes, which we have seen him make often this season and the last.

I'm not underestimating him, I am being realistic. Charles is fast, and in a really fast car too, so he will be hard to beat. I'm not surprised max was quick on friday he literally is in a car with the highest trap speeds and doesn't suffer from any porpoising. Not much adversity for him to battle so I expect nothing less, so if anything his mistakes are less forgivable.

I think they are progressing a bit, porpoising got a bit better - it's just George's setup had a bit more down force which didn't help. Not bad imo for only minor experiemental changes to the floor. I guess we will see how they develop onwards from here.

The available ticket prices have been dropping the closer the race gets, but still very high.
