Working on it they have escalated the issue to the sales manager to see if they can get an answer from the assembly plant. Either way it won’t make that boat and I am running out of time with my financing and interest rates are higher. I don’t want to get another inquiry on my credit either.

Mine is still at the VPC. No parts installed. It’s been released to carrier since 19th so it’s up to the trucking company taking it to my dealer not bmw. Est was 09/25 but then pick up date was supposed to be 09/23. CT delivery 2hours away from VPC. My CA said he’s waiting on 3 cars that came off our ship

Called the Genius line and it is on the ship "Auto Energy" but tracking has it going to Barcelona. Per the Genius line it will arrive in LA on October 15th but will be in VPC in Baltimore the same day. They are aware that this does not make sense but cannot explain or provide further information.

I’m in the same boat, car was built in July. Moved around Germany and Belgium. Apparently was placed on the auto energy and then dropped off in Barcelona. When I spoke to the genius they said the car would be in Baltimore October 15 and in California on October 15. You and I know that can’t happen! But in all reality, I have no idea when to expect this car. I purchased it in May because it would be quicker to get then the Electric. Kind of sad if you ask me

Anyone from NJ see movement at the VPC? Was told my g20 would be picked up from trucking today, but the tracker hasn't changed.

P.S the dates I was being told for trucking pickup/dealership delivery has changed several times as well lol

My status changed to At the Dealership on Sunday. Hopefully taking delivery Tomorrow or Wednesday.

My week 36 was sitting in “final assembly” for 9 days and now in “ready for transport” for more than a week - doesn’t look good for making the next boat……

For anybody with cars going to Texas, the boat Toscana scheduled for the 27th arriving in Galveston on the 29th has been pushed out a day so far. New date to arrive in Veracruz is the 28th. I am sure this is due to hurricane Ian. Fingers crossed and prayers for the crew and your cars making that boat.

Car went from QC to Awaiting Carrier Assignment today after a couple weeks stuck in QC. Praying I can get to the port and on a boat sooner rather than later 🙌🏽

Ive been heavily debating about possibly trying to get the MPE added at the port versus just doing it when it arrives to the dealership. Can anybody tell me what Id need to do in order to get it installed at the port?

Hi all, I wanted to get a feel on everyone if they're financing their cars. I ordered a 2023 330e and I am trying to lock in a rate ASAP before they keep creeping up. I hope the car will be here in 60 days from when I plan to apply for financing. Has anyone here closed out on their financing using a purchase agreement/buyer's order before the car is physically here?

I know it's a bit odd to close on a loan and start paying for a car that isn't here, but I wanted to lock in something low if I get assigned a VIN and could sign an agreement.

Most dealerships will not accept payment until the car is physically on their lot. There's too many things that can happen between the time you order and the car getting there. I locked in a rate when I knew my car was on the boat to CA.

Call Genius, they might tell you it got sent to the port to get loaded onto a boat. The tracker doesnt update from Ready to Transport until 24 hours after the boat has left. Or you will make the next boat.

Mine has been stuck in "Ready for transport" since the 15th as well. Genius stated it's on the way to the port. I truly believe it's already on a ship and just hasn't updated yet. My cars going to port Baltimore and theirs a ship on the way there, arriving on the 17th coming from Veracruz. Fingers crossed mine is on it lol

Been in quality check since the 09/12 week 37 build, I have seen some people status change after 15 days. But you can never guess, it could be for 40 days even, I guess the best thing is to hope it changes soon.
