Does anyone know if and how to activate the auto seat heating function. I’ve done the steering wheel but miss the auto seat heating from when I had my G12.

EDIT: Found it. For anyone else wondering it’s done via expert mode in

Headunit:

AKT_AUTO_SITZE_FRONT, value: heizung
AKT_AUTO_LENKRADHEIZUNG, value: aktiv

BDC:

LHZ_CCM_IKF – aktive
IKF_ENABLE – IKF_ALLE_SITZE

Works a treat.

Unfortunately I believe it doesn't work this way. I have a 320e sport from 2021.

We have 163hp plus 111 on the electric motor. It should have 274hp. I don't know where the rest of the power is..

330e have 184hp plus 111. But I dont know where it gets the rest of the power.

Xtraboost I believe its more a reprograming that we don't have.

If you somehow know how to do it without having to reprogram the ecu, hit me up!

I have a 2022 340i and my Tachometer cuts off at 6,000 RPMS after changing the gauge settings - previously I was using the M Instrument Cluster and I had messed with some settings to get the yellow pre-redline shift leds in place.

Anyone know where the setting is to get my RPM gauge to go to 7k or 8k since it clearly revs over 5500 where the red hash marks start? For that matter I think it revs over 6000 where the entire gauge ends if you're really on it too.

Pics tomorrow. I also figured out how to get 4 distinct colors in the g20 2021 platform LEDs (its nothing ground breaking) but I haven't yet seen a post describing how the "White" main light HEX code actually somehow seperates from the LED strip and only into the door lights. . . I feel like some nerdy lighting folks will like this.

Okay FYI its DZM Variante, and I decided to go with B58 "ohnte" which cuts off at 7,000 RPMS even (hashed lines go 6,000 to 6,500). B58 standard appears to have the endpoint at 7,400, with the hashed lines beginning at 6500 and ending at 7000 or so.

I have tried everything but cannot get LIC_FEATURE_2 to work on the G20... Does anyone know how to make the SML act as DRL/Parking Light???

I want the side mirrors to be constantly illuminated while driving (not only blinking when blinker is on).

I was wondering that all posts mention bimmerutility, but then all the codes are listed in the posts.

I downloaded Esys 3.39.1, PSdZ files and got myself the OBD2 enet cable.

Can I not just do these edits on expert mode in Esys? Do I need bimmerutiliy?

Also is there any resources to read up on adding FSC files mentioned in the previous posts? I would like to activate traffic sign recognition in my car too.

Hey Guys,

Looking for a little advice. I bought an ENET cable from Amazon (UK) and it has a 1.5K Ohm resistor between pins 8 and 16.

I've read that it should be a 510 Ohm resistor to work properly, but that was for a F series car. I have a G series car, a G21 M340i XDrive.

Will the cable still work for me, or do I ned to change the resistor to a 510 Ohm resistor (1/4 watt)

Anybody who is using Expert Mode in Bimmercode extensively I strongly suggest you upgrade to BimmerUtility The transition is not that much more complex and you have the added comfort if things go pear shaped you can always resort to your original factory settings in a couple of steps.

I have both BU and BC and use BimmerCode on my iPad for quick setup and simple mods/tests on ECU's that Stephan has given access to. If things go wrong I always have ESys/BU as a backup to fix it.

I have produced a G series cheat sheet that is available on Easy Bimmer Coding Facebook Group page that promotes BimmerUtility. BC users can download and use to code options not preprogrammed by BC. Please note Traffic Light Assist and other driver assist functions will not work as BC does not support the coding of the SAS3 and DSC_VIP ECU's

HG_MGU, Global_Conf_Sailing, Change to active.
Eff_Dyn_Sailing, Change to active.
Sailing_Counter, Change to active
because I want to be able to turn off the sailing mode in Comfort and Eco mode. There is an option in the general settings "Idle speed", which is enabled by default every time you turn the car off/on. Is it possible to code a memory for it? Like the start/stop memory so it remembers the setting to off?
