Finished saga without result. Not wasting more time with it. Sharing info that I received. TLDR; nobody knows anything

Drive recording - according to bmw customer service is not allowed due to legal requirements. According to dealer - needed to be ordered only during configuration.

Automatic lane change (part of DAP) - according to customer support it should work. According to dealer initially it should work, but later they told it’s only available at higher Bmw models like X7.

On other forums I found that g20 radars not compliant with EU requirements and this feature is disabled.

I thought you mentioned in your earlier posts that these features were working on other g20s you test drove.

I'm in europe - I have coded the lane change assist and it works in my G23.

I also disabled some other location specific limitations - like for Give Way Warning.
