Probably programming because all wires and pins are connected? Since this is manufactured in China I guess they couldn't really test on a M340i, tho I believe at least the tail light assembly should be identical for all G20s. I've seen it work well on other M340i.

Well, there will be a difference between US and ROW tails due to the turn signal (red vs amber) and the rear fog lamp. So the actual lights are different as is the wiring.

Are these OLEDs for the US/Canada or the rest of the world?

My gf's been running these lights for a few months now and I gotta say...definitely changes the look of the rear. In my opinion, the oem tails already looked great, but this really adds that extra "wow" and makes myself smile whenever I drive behind her!

These have amber sequential turn signals that also come on with the brake light; brake light also functions as a turn signal, which is kinda weird but not a big deal to me!

If you're on the fence and not because of financial reasons, do it! You won't regret it (unless you have seal/function issues haha).

We got these used from someone in the area selling them after they sold their car!

Gotcha! Definitely contemplating the purchase of a set but have no clue on the establishment considering the price varies a considerable amount between establishments; from what I have read most establishments purchase via Alibaba, mark up and resell.

It's extremely difficult to research which vendors on Alibaba have the best quality product when the light assemblies are so new. Hopefully as times passes more information will be available

FYI I am still in contact with the Aliexpress seller to see what's wrong with the unit. They confirmed they can "fix it" or at least show me how to fix it. I have reached out to someone with expertise with car electronics and he seemed to know how to fix. I will wait until hearing back from the seller

This clarifies it.

These are ROW lights and will need to be programmed to function properly on N. American cars.

How your girlfriends car function / look might be ok with you but having amber turn signals come on as brake lights won't pass the inspection in the states that have them and in CA it is an easy reason for a ticket.

I sure wish that we were able to program the ROW lights with bimmer code.

For those who have already installed them, did you refer to a certain install video or some sort of instructions? I am interested in buying them and installing but the only video I found of the install they were re-wiring things which is not what I'd like to do. But then I saw others say you don't have to any of that. So if I was able to have some sort of step by step guide or even a video of exactly what to do I'd definitely invest!

I noticed that Kies recently started offering some that on first glance appear to be a bit different than the standard vland lights. I'm hoping to see a video of them installed.

They're offering 2 versions, 1 all red and 1 all black. Neither housing matches the vland gts styling of black housing, clear/red lens.
