I have not been able to program the A/C on/off to one of the buttons... can it be done?
They really should have put a physical A/C button, maybe in place of the Max A/C.

I’ve been trying to set one of the presets to the sport display option but long pressing an unassigned preset while it shows the sport displays on the idrive don’t seem to work to get the preset to be assigned to it. What am I doing wrong guys?

You can't assign a short cut once you're already on the sport screen. Hover over the button to click to get to the sport screen and long press the short cut button on it.

Can you assign a button to turn A/C on or off?

Nope. I was only able to program the button to bring up the A/C menu. Unable to turn A/C on/off.

Just tried and you are right, only the shortcut to get to the AC menu available. That's too bad! Would have been nice to have a dedicated AC button.

I know you can ask to synch or unsynch temps.

Probably but I find the delay in "hey bmw" annoying. It's fine for navigation instructions etc. I nice quick button would be great. I wish the hard button that says AC Menu was just an AC on/off button.

Assuming home address is set up- click NAV on the idrive and scroll left to the menu-you'll see home. Scroll over it and then set whatever shortcut button you'd like to and it will navigate home.

FYI- for home it's so much easier to just click the voice command and say "take me home"
