No, you don’t. You just need to good set of winter wheels and tires. You’ll be better off than with xDrive and all seasons. That’s what I do here in Chicago and I’ve never had a problem in more than eleven years.

There’s a set of 18” 848s for sale on the forum right now you could use for the winter.

You can get a great set of winter tires from Tire Rack for about $800.

In fact, if you want a square set of 19” 791s for winter mine are for sale and another guy has a 19” set of winter tires for sale.

The 2020-2021 car market is far gone. He's priced it very well and right where it should be. Possibly on the lower end of the price range, but he's cleary wanting to make a sale and won't be stubborn.
