I think it will look a lot better with a Euro plate mounted on the horizontal bar, splitting up the grille into upper and lower parts.

But what are they going to do for the USA market, with our taller, but narrower, plates?

The more the actual car is revealed, the smaller, better proportioned the grills look, especially when they are blacked out. I'm very optimistic about a more aggressive looking all wheel drive M3/4.

The more I see X7s with the shadow line trim, the more I like them. I think they look very good and modern making the competition like the GLS seem stale.

IMHO it looks shite, and even more shite when they design a front end which is split up by the number plate, it looks tacked on - an after thought, which, considering how ugly (and divisive) this new front end is, makes it totally unacceptable. just horrible

We already have a good idea of what the final grille will look like. It's at a point where we need to see the rest of the front fascia and it how it works with grilles and I think that's going to be the determining factor, at least for me, on how well this design is going to work. The F3X really needed M Sport for it to look "right", without it, there was something off and the design felt like it was missing something.

I really like the look! The grill will take a bit of getting used to but the car as a whole looks cohesive and the grill itself is in proportion!

Well - even if there is a gamma-ray blast in the near future, the new grill is a reality.

Where is location of the tow hook? Some drivers like to mount the front plate on a tow hook. To be continued, I suppose.
