you can also lock out the controls in idrive if you don't want them to be used.

I also saw on a fb post someone saying that there’s no more ambient lighting on the passenger side and the vent by the driver side. Looks like 24 might be the year to get. You still get the updated screen and you can easily upgrade to the lci steering wheel.

I think the G82 CS and CSL have a carbon center console that runs all the way to the rear and they don't have the display or charging ports either
