Pics after her first foam bath this evening. Xpel prime XR Plus 30% front and back with 70% on the windshield. Xpel ultimate PPF on bumper, heads lights, hood and mirrors. Hope this points some people in the right direction.

Here's some of mine I took today. Fantastic car, I had an E92 M3 and Shelby GT350 previously. The M340i just does everything perfectly for a daily driver. Loving the tech and all the low end torque.

Looks great. Curious as to the cost for the product and how many hours of labor this took you. What prep work did you do to the car first? Clay bar? If you're up to it a step by step would be much appreciated. -Thank you

-Two-bucket wash with Carpro Reset
-Full Clay of the entire surface. -Light polish with Meguiars D302 MF finishing polish to remove some light water spots and get the paint really jeweled. -Wiped down with Carpro Eraser to get off any oils or residues from the polishing etc. -one coat of Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light -two coats of EXO V4 Cleaning, decontamination, and polishing took about 2.5-3 hours at a leisurely pace. This is a new car so there wasn't much paint correction needed. Applying the CSL took about an hour or so give or take. You should wait at least an hour before applying the EXO. I decided to give it the full 12 hours suggested for best results. The next morning I put on one coat of EXO which took about an hour, waited 2 hours then applied the 2nd coat. All told it took about a day and a half. I got the kit from Autogeek. https://www.autogeek.net/gtechniq-exo-csl-kit.html |

You'll want to follow the directions for application and removal carefully. While I found it pretty straight forward to work with you want to do it right. Otherwise the CSL has to be wet sanded off once is fully dried. So you really want to make sure you completely remove any excess and makes sure it's all leveled.

Gtechnic product have very good reputation and the outcome of your work on this Portimao blue is impressive . Ceramic coatings are known to give a paint not so warm compared to a traditional wax with carnauba but it's not the case here. If you ask an accredited detailer by Gtechnic, you can get the Crystal Serum Ultra for a better protection (guaranteed 9 years !) but the price is not the same... |

I have the same color. How did you decide on which ceramic coating to use? I have never gotten one before, and I seem to be reading conflicting information. Thanks.
