This is all a bit confusing to me, I've coded a few things back in the day with a TokenMaster token on my f10 but it seems like the game has changed in those years.

Is this assumption correct:
All I need to code my soon-to-arrive G21 MY2021 is:
- A 64-bit Windows laptop
- OBD-Ethernet adapter
- BimmerUtility license
- recent ESYS
- recent PSZData

I'm specifically thinking about coding LCA, TLA, ASD menu (330e so should come with active sound design), B&O menu (I have HK), Comfort+ mode

Or do I need anything else?

BU upgrades (if available) automatically each time app is Opened. Just close and reopen the App.

Does anybody know if Bimmer Utility will be able to code in M related HUD options as well as shift lights on G chassis cars? Link to thread who was able to do it remotely and no need to change module as many stated before as it was done on a X3 M40i which I'm 99% uses same HUD and Live Cockpit Pro found in G20's specifically M340I. Not asking for FULL M Options such as Vertical Track Display found on G80 M3, G82 M4, etc. I know you need a different module for those. Currently have M display with redline etc. but lost shift lights and all options in HUD besides speed which many people are on the same boat. Any help or feedback is greatly appreciated!

Bimmer Utility will be able to read the necessary modules and make changes if you know which parameters to code.

That's the issue, people have been able to accomplish it but no one is willing to share the parameters and what needs to be changed even though the hardware is similar if not the same across a wide range of models.

Bimmer Utility has NCD compare function, so you could always generate NCDs from different models, compare, and experiment.

Hello guys. bought the Bimmer utility, installed everything. But when I click on the E-sys connect button or where the various bmw models should appear for me to choose is blank. Did I forget a step?

If the "Open Connection" window under "Target" is empty (no targets), verify the following:

1. That the "psdzdata" folder is installed properly (From the PSdZData_Lite or PSdZData_Full extraction, copy the "psdzdata" folder to "C:\Data" (i.e. "C:\Data\psdzdata")
   
2. That the psdzdata chassis folders each have an empty "dist" folder. Make sure that there is an empty "dist" folder in each of the psdzdata chassis folders, and if missing, create as needed, e.g.:
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F001\F001_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F010\F010_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F020\F020_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist
   • C:\Data\psdzdata\mainseries\F025\F025_xx_xx_xxx\od x\dist

It is new esys out?
I have Esys 3.39.1 with BU and psdzdata 4.35.21.
In past i get FW 3/2022 at dealership on mine G20. Everything was fine with BU.
Today they (dealership) changed my GWS module and updated some modules.
Now i can read and code everything except BDC 7083 and 44ED.
When i read them i get error File for "cafd_xxxxxxxxx" not found (C012).

4.35.21 is latest, and just released.

Are you sure you deleted and replaced your psdzdata folder in c:\data with 4.35.21 psdzdata folder?

What is full name of both missing CAFD files?

Sorry my mistake. I have psdzdata 4.35.12.
I will try tomorrow with .21.

When you say "just released" i know i didn't update it recently

Ok, now it reads BDC_body3 7083 and 44ED, but i get "No mapping determined for this cafd" in BU.
So i need to wait for BU to support last mapping
