Wow. This is very promising. I am eagerly awaiting the full reveal. An m240 with a 6mt might just do it for me. Though I'll wait to see the g87 to be certain.

I don't think M240 has had a manual option for several years. At least not in the uk

They removed the iconic character line so they had to shift them downward

you can still buy a brand-new 6-speed M240i... in the US. It seems they discontinued the option in the UK awhile ago, maybe Europe too. Doesn't matter anyways, since the new one isn't getting it. F22 will be the last non-M car to have a manual option, at least it went out with a bang.

I've been wanting a m240i or M2 but holding out to see how the new one looks.
Is it me or does the car seems longer than I expected with the camo off?

The side view also seems too clean and not digging the door handles.
Hopefully it will look better in person

Love it! It brings back a lot of the original BMW DNA: longitudinal mounted 6 in line, RWD, long hood, short overhangs, perfect weight distribution, timeless design and I suspect a real joy to drive (fast)! Finally a real BMW again.
