M Performance brakes came with Cooling and high performance package, ZTK, they are huge and gap between caliper and wheel is very small.

My m340i xdrive is scheduled to complete production next week (14th of January) but no updates have been made on the app or inside the my garage on the BMW website. Is anyone else scheduled to complete production next week as well? Have you had any issues with updates?

I just got off the phone with a BMW genius and they said they’re not sure what the holdup is. My BMW started production on the 27th of November but has not had any updates since the “Production Started” status. They said that they’re sure it has in fact started production (Idk how sure they are about that &#128517. The genius also said if by next week there is no change in status to call back and they can escalate it.

My dealer said he has no idea what’s going on and it might be that the employees assigned to keep the cars production status updated skipped mine somehow. Wondering if anyone is in the same boat as me, thanks!

It took my car two weeks to go from Production Begins to Exterior Body. That seems pretty typical. You’re going on 40 days however which is way excessive. Hope they can figure out what the holdup is. Do you have some BMW Individual options selected, perhaps?

Once it hit Exterior Body, however, my car completed assembly and hit Ready for Transport in only two days. If yours is projected to complete next week, there’s still plenty of time. Perhaps the factory is waiting on a delivery from a supplier for a part your car needs.

I'm in a similar boat for my M340i (no unusual options). I entered "production begins" on 11/26, but no change since then. My scheduled to complete date is 2025-01-10, so I hope to see some movement in the next day or two. I haven't talked to a Genius or the SA--just assumed it was bad timing and the holidays.

Hmmm I’m not sure what the individual options are but could it be the paint? I spec’d the dravit grey color but I don’t think that’s individual right? I also spec’d the carbon fiber interior trim and the rest are all regular options 🤔

I got Tanzanite Blue paint and the carbon fiber trim, and there were no delays from that. I think that there is a holiday shutdown at the factory though, could be 1 or 2 weeks. All the other production related statuses happened within a couple working days of the build date after 2 weeks in production begins for me.

Correct assumption. And it is indeed staggered- exact same sizes as the summer tires.

It was scheduled to complete the last week of Nov, all of the updates came on the scheduled production date and the workday prior.

I'm in the same boat. Order received on 11/20, went into status 150 (production begins) about two weeks later, but it's been sitting there since, and my production date is 1/13. Seems excessive when compared to people's experiences on here, but maybe the holidays have something to do with it. I'm anxiously awaiting an update any day now fingers crossed.
