Whhhaaaa....? I did not know that! Still doesn't substitute a physical button, but I will be trying this out. Thanks!

I've gotten so use to using the voice command for it, I never really think of the lack of a button ever anymore.

The biggest annoyance I've had so far is some slight sunroof rattling after cold weather. These things are almost to be expected with a 1st year vehicle though

I didn't even notice, now I wish it was there. I always leave the AC on, winter or summer, I like the dry air.

On your 2nd point... It's my first AWD Bimmer and, after much skepticism, I can honestly say it's a great feature to have. My old F30 340i with MPSK couldn't put the power down all that well but the M340i just pulls even in the wet! It's amazing how point-and-shoot the car is now. A purist would still prefer RWD, but I'm not a good enough driver to miss it Take the plunge! There's more to love about the G20 than not, by a large margin! |

another difference i noticed is that with the new system, reciting an address barely works whereas the older one understands you 90% of the time. this was something that really surprised me. but yeah i think i will take the plunge mate - just waiting to see how they ruin the front end of the m3 so i know for sure the 340 is for me again haha |

I'm about the replace my LCI 340 with a new M340...
I also find the "one large touch button" cheap feeling compared to the interior of my 2017. ... Having young children, i really like the sunshades... The new 2017+ models don't have passenger dimming mirrors (sucks) even in the order guide it still says "exterior dimming mirrors" - and i noticed from the 2013 to 2017 dimming does not work as well... I will tint the windows on the M340 to help...

Tell me Guys with the new 2020... does it remember????
My 2011, 2013 and 2017 does not remmeber many things when I turn it off for a few minutes (heated steering wheel, heated seats, sport/confort mode, auto high beams) and probably more i have not noticed.... its quite annoying (especially the sport/comfort setting) ... I feel light a pilot that has to run a check list everytime i get in the car (especially in the winter) ... where as my A3 2009, A7 2013 and S5 2018 all remember these simple things.... (ok, to be fare on the a3 the heated seats where a dial haha)

It will remember it for like 5-10 minutes I believe.
Also, you can change the settings to have heated seats/steering wheel auto turn on at a certain temp.

My heated seats and steering wheel retains memory for 24 hours. However, Sport+ cannon be coded to memory because of liability reasons, since it partially disables the traction control. |

The one large button thing is so counterintuitive, I press the parking assistant button 2-3 times before it responds and it just doesn't have the same tactile sensory feel as individual buttons. And the sunshades completely confuse me as to why they didn't even bother to offer it as an option. I really miss this from my F30. Then again I'm also glad I don't hear someone in my backseat trying to roll down the shade and being caught off guard by the spring loaded function and it snapping closed really loudly |

The buttons are flat. I find it hard to know which one my finger is on. Are they the cheaper membrane type? They don't feel like mechanical, spring loaded buttons.
