Wow that is a shiny car!!! Looks fantastic. Also interested to know the tint type and %... scratch that I see you went with 20%. I’m thinking 25 or 30% dyed film. I don’t want to deal with the dimming.

Just picked mine up last week after waiting 4 months for the order. I immediately got the tints and put the cf spoiler on myself. I love it!

Very pleased to see the bmw community being so helpful during the process.

Looks awesome! Possibly the only standard colour I really love. Not decided whether to go for dravit or try and get an Individual San Marino Blue.

I have had my eye on Dravit Grey for a factory ordered 2021 m340i for a while and had one sitting customized on the BMWUSA website as recently as two weeks ago. I go on today and do not see the options for either the Tanzanite Blue II Metallic nor the Dravit Grey when I go in to create a build.

Is there some reason that the two BMW individual colors would not be showing up on the website? Is it no longer available? I will be putting the factory order in to pick the car up in February once my current lease ends and am certainly hoping that this color is still available... such a beautiful color.

It's unclear at the moment. The speculation is that the German factory is simply too back logged at the moment, so the two individual colors have been pulled from the website. This is exacerbated by a month long shut down for vacations and retooling for the i4. The Mexico factory, where the vast majority of US-bound M340s will be built going forward, is not able to paint vehicles in any individual colors. I wouldn't panic just yet, especially since you have a few months until you will need to get an allocation, if you are targeting February '21 delivery.

I am looking to put in an order for this build within the next week or so...

I am really trying to figure out color scheme. I know for certain I will be doing cognac interior which is beautiful, and the trim will be the glossy ash. The wheels and whether or not to get the shadowline package are killing me here. I want a car that would look to myself and most others as being the most aggressive and sporty (doesn't need to look luxurious, I want people to know this thing will MOVE) without coming off as looking cheap or gaudy. I really like the jet black wheels and the shadowline grill but am not sure if having everything in black makes sense to look sportiest, or if I should do the standard with the muted silver color on the grill and/or the wheels.

Hoping to get an opinion out of a few folks here about how to configurate this thing. Thanks!

I ended up going with Shadowline and the all jet black wheels... Will take delivery on March 15 at the Performance Center which is a 15 minute drive from my house

I am wondering about the key fob that comes with the car along with the door sill plates the if you order Dravit Grey (a BMW individual color) in a M340i. Is the key fob the one with the M stripes on the side, or does it say "BMW Individual" as they key fob on, say, an X7 with Tartufo individual leather would have? Does the door sill say M340i or (again as with the aforementioned X7 as an example) BMW Individual? Surely you guys would know since you have these cars... I originally posted this question in a different section of Bimmerpost and should have thought to ask here!

My dravit grey m340i has the key with M stripes on the side. My ametrin metallic X5 has the key with "BMW Individual" on the side.
