Well, you guys are very lucky with your G20's. There must be some differences to my F40. I've just coded Sport Plus on my F40 m135i and it's EXACTLY the same as sport - in all transmission settings. Also coded Comfort Plus then thought how does that work if there's no menu for comfort, it's just the one single setting.

Sport Plus on my idrive shows under transmission and engine sound - But in engine sound it's not going to improve anything because in Sport, the exhaust valve is open and in comfort the valve is closed - so what would sport plus do regarding engine sound? Absolutely nothing. Same goes for sport plus in transmission setting - it's exactly the same as sport. I usually use comfort transmission under sport individual for a nice fairly sharp daily drive. Better than comfort which is quite lazy and sport which is a bit too sharp for town driving & traffic. Maybe I should have kept my 330i!

I coded with Bimmercode to have fog lights on with both parking lights and high beams on my G20.

Anyone using bimmercode with a Enet cable? I just bought a type C to Ethernet adapter and a Enet cable but I'm unable to connect to the car using an Oneplus phone. Any ideas?

I use it with an adapter on my iphone...without any problems.

I chose ENET cable and it gives me this error "please enable WiFi and connect your android to the OBD adapter WiFi network"

Which android phone is it? To use the enet cable on an android phone, you need to enable static IP and stuff.

Looks like that could be the problem. It seems like I'm unable to manually assign a IP address and it's getting one automatically.

I'm using a Oneplus 8. I did a quick Google search and it seems I'm unable to manually set an IP address. It's not available as a feature in the OS.

I guess I'll have to use another phone.

Yes. I had a one plus 6t and that wouldn't even recognize an ethernet connection. Went back to Samsung and all is well again.

So the only way would be to sign into my Google account on a Samsung phone and redownload the app? Or is there another way?

Managed to code comfort plus using the wife's Samsung phone using this method, Plugged the adaptor into the phone and instantly showed settings for IP address, changed the IP address, pressed connect and voilà!

Using a Enet cable is soo much faster than using a Bluetooth adapter.

Does anyone know if you can change the default fonts to the M fonts instead of the switching the entire instrument cluster to the M layout? I like the fonts a lot, but rather be on the default cluster layout.

I'm not sure if its an option in Expert mode or not.

Just set is back to BMW cluster and then only change the following.
DKOMBI -> ag_mpa_msp_view -> mpa_ansicht_330_skala

I too was coding all type of stuff in expert mode and one thing I clicked was the operating version from 2018 that was marked aktive to 2021 and after coding the screen went blank and says no communication to head unit module. Can anyone help? I’ve tried resets, battery reset, holding knob, BimmerCode backup tried, took it to bmw to try to reflash the head unit with stock file but I think since I changed the version it’s not got a way to communicate with other modules.

The module likely has corrupt cafd file. The dealer should be able to fix the issue, i dont think what you did has affected the communication to other modules.
