Also the $250 power tailgate is one of the most useful features on my car. Unless you are one of the few lucky ones that never have to go buy grocery, otherwise you will find it very useful.

Getting RFT and spare is redundant. You either go with PS4s with spare or RFT without.

Thank you for the info. I realized A/S RFT are not staggered, just squared. The staggered only come performance and if you want Michelin Pilots, you need to get the Tire cooling and high performance package which is worth it.

I opted to forego the spare, as I lose a lot of trunk space, and add the tire cooling kit which gives you Michelin P4S and a tire mobility kit, plus increased oil cooling and fan cooling for brakes and engine for only $1,000 more since I already opted in for the $600 rim/tire upgrade and $550 Adaptive suspension, both which come w the tire cooling package.

My tracking status updated almost 3 days after the ship left Mexico, if you call BMW Genius they will give you more detailed and up to date infor.

Have been in RFT since Monday 8/21. Called genius to see if they have any additional info, and played dumb as if I hadn’t been tracking just to see what they say.

Genius told me it had left the factory for the port on 8/21 but that they don’t have any updated information yet beyond that. Hopefully just means its waiting at the port for an available ship. There are 3 vehicle carriers currently at Port Lazaro Cardenas so hoping one of those will be heading out to Port Hueneme soon!

Also seems like there is consistent correlation of RFT meaning it’s left factory for the port.

That sounds about right. My production date was 8/10/2023. The transport to the dealer is scheduled for 8/31.

So I'm thinking the next possible ship for port of Hueneme delivery (for us West coast folks) is going to be Olympia Highway. It is currently at anchor in port of Lazaro Cardenas. Port of Hueneme just updated their September schedule and Olympia Highway is expected in port around Sept 8.

I'm anticipating entering production in the next week or two since my build week is coming up in September finally. I really hope to have the car for a bit before it is completely winter lol

I've been in Ready for Transport since 8/17. BMW Genius said similar, it has left the factory towards port but to call back next week. Headed to New England so I am hoping its on a ship or will be soon :-)

SoCal cars are now starting to clear the port. Mine is on a transport heading to the dealer after an MPE install.

Let’s both keep our fingers crossed for the Global Leader, which is docked in Veracruz today and bound for New Jersey. It doesn’t always carry BMWs but has been known to at times.

It’s where Northeast BMW’s come in for sure. The rest of the east coast and Midwest is likely Georgia & Baltimore.

Car is now RFT as of yesterday. Headed to Western MA. Hopefully it’ll get in on the Global Leader but I think that would be an optimistic.

While still in FA, I asked my CA if I can add option Z22 (MP Rear spoiler in Carbon).

After some time, they got back to me saying they couldn’t add the option without also adding option Z17 (the MP front attachment in carbon). The spoiler I requested was $765. The MP front attachment is $2495! Why even option them seperately if i need bundle them? Aftermarket it is!

Same happened to me. Speculation is they have lots of front splitters laying around and are trying to get rid of them by forcing you to bundle. I suspect this won't work due to the high cost of the splitter as you pointed out. I ended up ordering from BMW Parts Pro and the spoiler will be delivered today. Will install with help from a local detail shop.
