2021 M340i xDrive, my rear differential is leaking as well. Is this the part # for the new revised cover I should order? 33118677753 or is it 33-11-8-742-755? Thank you. Would it be worth doing this at home?

Is this a cover issue or axle seal/pinion seal issue?
Dealer wants $1,500 for the job.

the cover is the vent on the top of the car that is too short so it leaks fluid, you are best off asking them to warranty the diff cover as the part is already 122 from fcp

I presume I can't warranty it with 120k miles on the car

I have a small leak (1-2 drops per day) coming from high up from this bolt that appears to run thru the frame to the differential. 2021 330i iDrive with 47k miles. 4.5 yrs old so out of warranty now.

Any ideas what is causing this? It literally just started 3 days ago.

If it's like the Transfer Case mount/bushing, it is a fluid-filled bushing that leaks over time. Will likely need to replace that diff mount bushing with a new one.
