Loving BG so far, however I'm still undecided. I went to the dealership to see it in person - unfortunately it was dusk and then nighttime. I really like the color in low lighting, however I'm scared it will come off as baby blueish in the bright sun.

Happy New Years guys.
Im looking to get recommendations for what tint % I should get on my Brooklyn Grey/Black G20.

I live in NJ, ideally looking for aesthetics and privacy as well.

Can anyone with the tints on their BG reply with what % they have. Thanks.

I have Tacora Red interior in my BG with 15% Ceramic Nanotint on sides and rear and 50% on front windshield... Illegal levels even here in Vegas, but never had any issues with police at 15% here on my prior Z4. Can't say how you will fair, but in Iowa I got hassled for similar tint.

My Brooklyn Grey G20 LCI with carbon fiber exterior package (spoiler, rear diffuser, rear view mirrors and front splitter) Had ceramic coat applied to the paint and wheels. Also removed rear badging. Need to take some pics in better lighting as this car really shines in the sunlight. Love it and can’t stop driving it!

Awesome color! I Just got a call from my dealer and I'm taking delivery today. Do you plan on drilling holes for the front plates?

I don’t and I made sure the dealership knew not to drill holes in the front. I think it would take a lot away from the front end. I know in my state I’m legally supposed to have one. But I’ll take my chances.

Thanks for the side by side. I was able to see BG in the daytime and the blue was reasonably subtle. Skyscraper was nice too since it's a darker silver in the best way.

I ended up going with portimao blue since I've been on the nardo bus before

How the hell did I miss this thread?

My '22 M440i GC with the "classic" combo Brooklyn Grey + Tacora Red Leather. I just love this spec! For a short time I was thinking about trading it in for an M3 Competition, but nah... this car is perfect.

G30M550i did a black interior so I don't think it's completely unforgivable going with a color outside of red...

cognac on the other hand...

The wife chose the Black Vernasca Leather with Blue contrast stitching and it looks pretty damn sweet.

Indeed it is!!! BG + Tacora Red is so sexy that any other color combination is not only illogical... it's downright criminal!!! (kidding of course)

I want to install these side M badges on my M440 coupe. Can someone who has them provide the placement measurements? 1) distance from the bottom edge of the badge to the body line and 2) distance from the right edge of the badge to the door jamb. Thank you.
