Think there must have been an update to the owners site as my order now shows the actual car and I am at Production Begins. Website is still behind the real status, but still good to see the actual car being built.

Yup mine updated with actual picture also. BMW must have turned it up a notch. They accepted order yesterday, got my production number and today it already entered production and just now I see a VIN. Hopefully it will be closer to 6 weeks.

Springfield is so hit or miss. They weren't going below $800/month on my build.

It wasn't until I showed them a lease broker's numbers and a quote from NY dealer that they relented and matched.

The only thing they really have going for them is proximity and that their service guys are really nice (when you can get them on the phone).

Just wanted to remind those tracking your orders, that sometimes the web progress is slightly delayed. I spoke with the BMW Genius hotline and learned that my car was headed to Altamira port, even though my online progress did not yet show that. Assuming GLOVIS Courage is for us, hopefully I can make that boat!

I’m starting to lose hope it’s going on the glovis courage at this point

Although the web said my car was ‘ready for transport’ on the 15th, the phone hotline had it done on the 12th, which was ~3 weeks ago.

So it’s possible it’s just going to sit there for who knows how long.

Im going nuts too. My car was ready for transport on 9/17.

The cars have to be going on that vessel. There are no others from Glovis anywhere near Altimira anytime soon

I have a non bmw lease expiring too.... so Im extra anxious.

Update I spoke to the genius hotline too. My car is at the port awaiting carrier assignment.

I just called the hotline and it said "ready for transport" which has shown that since the 15th so not sure what's going on and if I will make this boat. Unless they transport cars for a while so maybe not updated yet

edit: when you called the hotline was it just an automated response or actually spoke to someone and asked?

You need to speak to a live agent. The automated service just uses the website records.

Thanks! I just got off the phone with one and they said my car was actually been at the port since the 17th so that goes to show how delayed the website is haha. But so hopefully this is the boat! They recommended calling back Monday so if it is shipped by then they will be able to provide more info as compared to online being so delayed.

For those who's car is on Golovis Solomon, the genius reached out to me saying that it would be arriving this upcoming week and it's likely that I'll be taking delivery next weekend, which is about a week earlier than I thought

Took delivery today. It's in the shop now getting tinted and ceramic coated I'll take better pics later in the week.

The auto start/stop is insanely smooth I barley noticed it I was playing music moderately sound volume and I couldn't hear it as well. No complaints about that.

I do have the MPE and on starts it's very loud and dramatic. On comfort mode if it's revs past 3500rpm it still pops and crackles (I'm not reckless I didn't rev it pass 4000rpm) starts ups it sounds better then my c43. Comparing comfort mode the MPE was pretty quite where as the c43 you could hear the turbos with in the cabin.

Once the break in period is over I'll give a full comparison between the MPE and the AMG PE

My car is on the Glovis RCC Europe... and even better, its currently in galveston TX offloading other cars.

I hope you guys got on this one. BMW says that the ETA to port Jersey is 14 days.... thats from when it set sail which was 4 days ago. Finally some good news.

I would tell you guys to call the genius line and see if you are on the Rcc europe as well.

Wow awesome news! I will defiantly have to call the hotline when I get a chance. As of last Friday they said my car was at the port since the 17th so I’d hope I’d be on that boat. The GLOVIS RCC that your vehicle is on was it from Mexico?
