FWIW, I have been through about six (No, I’m not kidding) passenger side replacements from ICEDRIVER and they’ve all done this. Driver’s side from my original order is still going strong. I finally got sick of it and put a bunch of super glue on the board around the edge of where the two pieces meet and I haven’t had the issue since. It’s ghetto IMO, but it worked.

German engineering...
What's the story on the TUeV and modded yellow DRLs?

We're contemplating a move back to Germany after our time here... technically we're exempt a lot of TUeV requirements but at the same time getting said exemptions can be a pain in the ass.

In short: It´s not legal and you can´t pass the TUeV with the ICEDRIVER modules.
You need modules that can switch between white and yellow.

[QUOTE="tanz.b58;31079233"]hey was wondering how the icedriver module is doing for you guys that have purchased and are currently using them. planning on purchasing them but wanna know the most recent update on the product. thanks

All good. My first two I had a problems with the boards detaching but since then, no issues. I had both replaced free charge.
FYI There isn’t much wiring to work with so when you are plugging them in and you apply too much force to the connector it will weaken it and break. It is held on to the board with electronics adhesive. I took my two old ones to my electronics buddy and he repaired them and now I’ve got a backup set. Doesn’t recommend using superglue as this is not the proper product to use as the heat generated will eventually cause them to fail.

just had a problem with my drl, they broke about a month ago still haven’t touched my left turn signal. haven’t really actually found the problem just guessing a board went out but it was only the left side, first the turn signal stopped working then the entire thing shut off about 2 hours later

bought a new set off aliexpress they will probably end up not working and i will end up going back to white but can anyone recommend good glue or adhesive. i just bought thermal tape hopefully it works out

I installed the boards from Umnitza last fall. This past week the driver's turn side board ended up failing with a broken connector. Umnitza warrantied a new set for me.

Just installed today. It’s a bit of a pain in the behind for the LCI model compared to the non lci (led board is behind wheel liners compared to in hood) but worth it in my book. Install took around an hour.

The PreLCI modules are also behind the wheel liners...

Anyone in the San Fernando Valley Ca or near by areas in LA know where I can get the DRLs installed? I have the kit all I need is a place that can install them.

I am waiting on mine to get delivered, you guys with the boards separating might look into some conformal coating, its use specifically for PCB protection for boards in the elements.

Hello everyone, i have a 2020 330xi with aftermarket laser lights. I’m wondering if anyone can help me out with my problem. I’ve been trying to find yellow drl’s that works with my headlights. My light chips aren’t the regular oem laser light style chips, it’s the LED style chip. Ik doesn’t make any sense right lol but i’ve been struggling trying to find working LED chips for my laser lights. I’ve tried regular LED yellow drl and the chip wasn’t strong enough. It looked like the last picture i added in this forum. If anyone knows any drl that will work for my headlights and could kindly link them, that’d be greatly appreciated
