Any of you going forward with port installed addons?

Been looking at MPE / CF Spoiler + Lip .... latter option though I'm not so thrilled as I can probably find a cheaper alternative.. especially since I cannot choose just one option lol...

Can't find too much for the M440i GC (G26)

Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler - for sure if they let me do it without the $2400 Front Attachment/Lip. Otherwise I may get the spoiler elsewhere and find a front lip I like better since that $2400 price is tough to accept.

Also considering the M440i Badge in Black High-Gloss but shopbmwusa.com says it's incompatible with the 2024 GC.

I listed a few of the port installed options I want in my original post in this thread. I'm split on the MPP CF lip, a more aggressive-looking one like acudaf82 has, or no lip at all and just some scrape protection under the bumper. I'm reconsidering the CF side sills since the G26 comes with non-CF sills. I'll wait and see how I like the stock sills first. I'm also looking at the CF rear diffuser and the easier to install yourself items like floor liners, wheel locks, cargo mat and net, and CF or Aramid Fiber antenna cover.

Unfortunately, the Genius at my dealership couldn't add most of my list in their system. I'm interested to know which port installed options are available to you, 107Bulldog, since our cars will presumably arrive at the same port because you're in LA and I'm in the Bay. I asked the Genius if the selection changes over time but he didn't answer that question.

This is the list the Genius gave me. It seems some of them may not even apply to the G26. I googled "Z02 MPP Carbon Fiber Side Skirts" and "ZQ3 MPP Side Sill Foils - Frzn Blk" and they don't appear to fit the G26. So I may get the parts I want on shopbmw.com or elsewhere and install them myself. Interestingly, the MPP CF Front Splitter is in the list even though shopbmw.com says "Note: Only in combination with BMW M Performance Rear Spoiler (PN 51 19 5A36997)"[/URL], which isn't in the list. The spoiler has a similar note about requiring the front lip. Too bad it isn't the other way around - I definitely want the spoiler more than the lip.

Yep, updated to in transit this morning!! I can’t believe it. I already know what boat I’m on based on the schedule the Galveston port thread provided. Some people were waiting 48 days for a boat. Definitely feel fortunate.

From that list I was able to order MPE, wheel locks, and all weather floor mats initially. Dealership assured me the all weather mats would just be included and not replace the stock mats. Some of this other stuff sounds interesting, but I don’t want to complicate it at this point. I’m just ready for the car to arrive.


If you’re interested in the MPE, I would do it. There was another thread about it, but installing MPE at port avoids labor costs.

Not quick to upgrade yet, because I already purchased a second set of rims with summer tires and along with the ceramic coating from my detailer when the car actually arrives will set me back $$$. LOL

I hate run flat tires, and I live in Chicagoland area, so purchased non run flat summer tires for the 4 months i can actually use them

As for my car, I'm still showing at the port. In terms of updates, I'm ~1 day behind you calbearz24 paranoidandroid. Congratulations on being in transit though!

Update 06/30 from BMW genius, my car is at bremerhaven port with no ETA of being shipped. The current ship there is the glorious leader, next ship is the capricornus leader due July 8

Mine arrived at the dealer today. I am having ppf and ceramic coating done. Won't get it until Tuesday.

This is the hardest part of the waiting!

The worst was when the ship had to park in Southampton and New York due to traffic. You don't know when it will get a berth to offload/onload. I was lucky that it added only 2 additional days.

Wow...that was quick. Seems like for most people...its 2x that time and longer! I put my $1,000 deposit on my M440i GC X-Drive back on June 17 and they are still trying to get a 112 allocation. So 19 days and I'm where you were at day 0.

I don't need the car until end of October hopefully that is in the cards.

I had my original order with my service dealer in mid May, that if I kept, didn't have an allocation until the middle of July. That's why I kept checking, and found the dealer that was just an hour away that had an open allocation. So yeah, I think I was pretty fortunate.

My dealer didn't get an allocation for an M440i GC this month but was able to call around and trade for one!

The build date is supposed to be July 31st - we shall see!
