Wow, 8%, if I can have that, I will pull the trigger right away

You can probably negotiate a lower OTD too. Are you getting any rebates? I have a similar spec’d order with $3500 discount, plus $2000 in rebates.
Any idea on credit score for tier 1 rate?

Which rebates did you get?

2025 or 2024?

Unsure on the criteria. I’ve seen somewhere in the M3 forum about 760+ should make the cut. Keep in mind, dealers can mark up by 1%.

I have a corporate incentive and finance apr incentive.

Ask your bank to finance it, at the very least. 8.39% or whatever is ridiculous.

2021 BMW M340i  [9.90]
The exterior doesn't look too different from the 2 previous gens. I like the earlier models better. It's not aggressive enough and looks to plain. I would mistake this for a honda or toyota for sure.

I am currently getting an offer for 2.5k off on the 2024 m340i, almost all the features except for the cooling and premium road assistant, and 8.39% for the finance rate, which is around 72k total OTD. I am in Chicago
Keep shopping around. I bought my 2024 M340i x-drive from Patrick BMW last month. Sticker was $68,270, or around there, and I paid $62,000. Interest rate was 6.79% through BMW with tier 1 credit.

I have a ‘24 M340i that just wrapped up production and I’m on the fence about shifting to the ‘25 for all the reasons discussed so far. Is there any way to tell if they eliminated the USB ports and climate controls for the rear passengers? Appears to be the case for the ‘25 M440i.

Judging by the various EU configurators, this appears to be just the case for the 2-door 4 series. The 4-door 4 series and the 3 series should keep them, as it appears. But don't quote me on that, of course.

I also was in the same position and had loaded M340i XDrive waiting for transport, but went to dealer and cancelled the order. Will order 2025 as soon as Configurator is available in US. I did not like new wheels and wood trims, but there are too many important changes, like updated engine, hybrid, suspension and new iDrive as well as start/stop button that made me cancel current order. I will keep new car for at least 8-10 years, so I rather get the latest one.

Also, more I look at the updtaed interrior more I like it, because it is cleaner and fits curved screen. On previous one it was not bad, but screen did not flow with the dash, like someone stick that on top of old one. New one improved and with sensatek dash it will be nice and modern.

Yeah, I will. Patrick only gave me $2k off at the moment, I need to keep reaching out to more dealerships. Thanks very much!

Also they had a 3% apr promotion going on at the time which the dealers can upcharge 1% which they did, but I didn't mind because I was planning to pay it off in a year. With the 2025 model coming out, I would balk on that offer unless they really give you something better which I doubt many would do with no dealer incentive beside loyalty and military.
I am not in a rush, but after reading and watching more posts and videos, I can't wait to have one asap

I sure hope someone starts producing 0w12 soon. BMW can’t keep up with the current cars in the road.

Bit confused - are you referring to the current LCI? What makes you think the 2025 will use the same oil? Seeing that it comes with OPF likely might be a difference in recommended oil.

P.S: what is wrong with using the dealer-branded oil?

All the new 48v engines are starting to use 0w12. Nothing wrong with bmw oil besides paying 4x the price it should be. I change it every 5k miles and at $130 a pop it’s crazy compared to the other sped’d engines. But that’s CAFE standards for you.

You can use any 0w20 or 0w30 in B58. Does not have to be BMW oil, Motul is a great alternative. I use this on my M3 e46 and it is much better than BMW oil.

You’re overthinking this. You can use any oil on your B58 as long as it meets BMW standards. I use Motul LL01 FE 5W-30 mid OCI (every 5K.) By the way this oil meets CAFE. I also have a Mild Hybrid MY2021.

Anyway this post is for 2025 so probably not the right thread to start another oil discussion.

Manual on my 24 x5 says to refer to the sticker under the hood. It states 0w12. Check out how confusing the manual is for it.

Sorry to derail the thread. My thoughts are this makes manufacturers more apt to produce the required fluid as there will be more cars on the road. It may take time but folks should know it’s hard to get right now.

Unfortunately, having worked there before, I wouldn’t be surprised if dealers were complaining about the 330e and that it’s “harder to sell” so they helped sway NA to scrap it. No offense to any dealers or client advisors here, I’m sure it is harder to sell a 25-mile range 330e but I can guarantee you it wouldn’t be hard to sell a 50-mile range one and BMW NA is going to regret this choice.
I just bought a 2024 330E two months ago. Since you can no longer get them in Canada, wonder if it makes mine more valuable

So the 2025's will have OPFs? That's a bummer! Can you delete them with an MPE?
