Seriously... I thought the front was bad form the leaks. Its ALL bad.

Anyways. I really don't like this car the more I see pictures. Is the M3 getting this fornt treatment or just the M4? I can't see myself driving are car with such an ugly face.

Not that this will have changed much from the last gen, but in 2014 the target demographic for the 4 series was 35-50 year old males. 50% of sales where expected in Europe, 30% in NA and 20% for the rest.

"Target buyers: Mainly men age 35 to 50 who are "successful, sporty and with a sense of style," BMW says."

While he's driving that abomination around the track the only thing I could think was how on earth could he concentrate and keep in on the asphalt with all that active sound being piped in? I was hoping he'd bury it in the trees at least once.

best thing that could happen to it, tbh.

LONG LIVE THE F82!!

When they didn't have it on the g20, I was so hopeful, especially since it stands out terribly on all the F3x models.

Still excited to see the new M3.

Backup plan if it doesn't grab me is to look for an F80 CS coming off lease in the next year or two. Such a timeless look.

I looks a bit Audi-esque here, but not as bad as I thought. The laser lights would help to strenghten the BMW look.

Did a render. It looks better in different colors but the grills are still HORRIBLE.

Overall, I think I would rather have a 3 series instead. It's a much nicer car overall looks wise than the new 4.

where is the difference in interior compared to the 3 series? I cannot spot any

Why was the car driven on track by a board member and not a racing driver or test driver? Was this board member that desperate for attention?

Only thing I've noticed is red leather, grab handles and speaker arrangement may have changed a bit, and door tops possible receive leatherette and faux stitching. Otherwise, its just the plain ol' 3er interior:

Each BMW series has quite a distinct design, compared to its direct rivals.
While I consider the new 1 series and 2 GC really garbage models, the new 4 will continue to be the class leader for driving dynamics.
In the M Sport trim looks great, the base variant it's pathetic, but I don't know why someone would consider it.

This is probably just me but the front super wide grill does remind me a little of a basking shark as that travels everywhere with its mouth open for filtration:

3. What a boring, bland, uninspired interior.

4. Why wont they improve their digital display? It's all graphics, just put a kid on the job and at the end of the day you'll have 1000 different skins. Why are we stuck with this dark display with a shitty map and a reversed revmeter? What's the point of a digital display if it's not customizable?
All this.

I think it looks really well done. I owned an F80 and F83, and personally never quite got used to the number of creases in the front end of that car. This design still has some overworked design, but overall it comes across as more elegant to me (especially the M-Sport version).

My main gripe is why they kept the front hood line. Hard to imagine.

One more reason Tennessee is home for me. We don't even get issued a front plate.

FL doesn't have a front plate

Which in this case may be a bad thing 🤣

Man it's just too bad about that grille! Cause otherwise, this thing looks phenomenal. It looks more like a replacement for the recently departed f13 6 series. Unfortunately I think that grille will look even worse without a front plate or with a US spec front plate
