I just checked mdecoder again and my vin just showed up this afternoon (wasn't there this morning). It was built 2 days ago.

M340 Mexico build, only delete I see is S48z for passenger lumbar and width.

Exactly why I snapped up an in-stock loaded M440i GC I found at a local dealer only two weeks ago. The only deletion was power seats and passenger lumbar which I can easily live with. There is not another M440i of any stipe within 500 miles of me. In normal times there would have been 150 available.

I think BMW of Asheville ("Fields") has one. I test drove it about a week ago. Someone ordered but their financing fell through

My Sales Rep only said that the HK system is "at risk" and might not be available.

At this point I don't think we can bank on anything being safe. Obviously they're not going to give you a bare bones car devoid of every option you chose. But if you can make it out with only 1 missing option, that's a win in this day and age. It sucks but it is what it is.

I already had to drop the lumbar support in the passenger seat and no touch iDrive controller. Things probably most of us had to drop

Passenger lumber has been gone for a long time. I drive controller started about a month ago. Things are constantly changing so your really can't predict how it will turn out until it is actually built.

'22 M340i xDrive. Same here with passenger lumbar/width deletions. There was some uncertainty with heated rear seats not being initially possible to add to build, dealer ultimately got them added a few days later. I was also unable to configure the build with ZPK parking assistance package online, but it was offered as available when configuring my order with the dealer. I had the laser lights added prior to them disappearing on the configurator, hopefully those don't end up being deleted. This is for a North America build scheduled for week 11 in March, status 112.

Hey at least they arent removing touch screens anymore. But yeah - still some options of the table. I ended up waiting for the LCI so either Ill be terribly happy in fall or extremely unhappy if it gets worse. Signs are there though that things are getting better if the only thing theyre yanking is passenger lumbar and wifi charging.

that would be ugly, the upgraded HK is "acceptable", the base system is embarrassing for a car this expensive

And the HK system also looks nicer
I'd accept a delay just to have the HK system, but then again, if the delay is like several months.. it would be a tough call to make.

It is the opposite of removed options but I have noticed that the non-M Sport 330e can now be ordered with the adaptive M suspension in the online configurator. Even more surprising to me is that adding this $700 option also adds the variable sport steering as a no cost option. Also the adaptive M suspension description says that it adds not only adjustable dampers but also air suspension in the rear. When I was ordering my 330e a few months back, none of these were available as options unless the car had the M Sport package...

Hello. New to the forum, from Canada. Appreciate the wealth of information here!

I recently ordered a '22 m340i and chose Black Vernasca "upholstry".
I didn't choose the Walknappa dash option, but assumed it would come with a soft touch leatherette dash.

Some posts seem to imply even getting a Sensatec dash is an option from the default moulded plastic. Can anyone chime in?

I ordered Sensatec dash along with my tacora vernasca leather. Sensatec has the leather feel and has stitching on it around instrument cluster.

The Sensatec dash is standard on the M340i in Canada.It is listed in the Canadian ordering guide as the Leatherette Dashboard,option code 4AW.So your car will have it.
