Pre-conditioning vs remote start - 330e

From everything I've read, the 330e has "preconditioning" and not remote start. While they technically are designed to both do the same thing, cool/heat the cabin, preconditioning only works if there is sufficient electric charge remaining. This makes it useless in many situations.

Is there a way to add remote start to the 330e so that it functions the same way as every other vehicle with remote start on the planet - start the car and activate climate settings?
