Is the top to bottom wider than the 55mm too?

yes, its just big enough to fit over the pipe and is a pretty snug fit. I think its 62mm or so. Id have to go back and measure it again.

It literally wont fit. Its too wide. I need longer bolts on the side. You need aet screws though that are m8x1.25. Basically impossible to find anywhere.

Top to bottom is snug. Left to right it just flops around.

I dont have the bolts but ideally you would need the nut and set screw so you can make them snug. Otherwise if you just use a longer bolt with a head it could back out over time.

I dont see how that will work. If the head doesnt contact the pipe it could back out. It needs to be a set screw.

It should.

I still don't like how far off the tip is on the sides. I am debating on even keeping them. I wish another person could verify the width on theirs.

I might just get them welded on lol, I don't think the screws will hold well.

Yeah I wonder if other peoples are too wide too. There was a person on here that installed them with different screws.

I talked to him. He used 5/16 bolts with a head. He said it doesnt move and its tight. But i would think over time they would back out.

The only way a head bolt would work is if you got the length to be close enough for the head to sit flush on the exhaust Tip.

I hope so. Its really not a great way to attach an exhaust tip but I think it will suffice. lol

Soon I will receive mine too.

I always use some Loctite 222 (purple) or 243 (blue) to secure important bolts or nuts on my cars or motorcycle.
Won't come loose by vibrations, oil, …
