So, im taking delivery of a Portimao Blue M340i next month and as soon as I have it delivered, i'l be installing a few M-Performance parts such as the carbon fibre diffuser and spoiler as well as carbon fibre wing mirrors.

My question is, has anyone here wrapped their M340i roof in a carbon fibre or black wrap? Im considering it, but looking for pics or opinions on whether it would look nice or not?

Also, if I do go ahead with it, should I got for black or carbon fibre??

I did it briefly (took it off after 3 days). I used 3M gloss black and did the roof rails as well. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures but to me it did not look right. Something about the body lines of the G20 did not work well. Plus mine has a sunroof (maybe it would look better if you didn't have one).

Think it looks good on white but any dark colors I'd just leave it. Especially with a sunroof.

I wrapped my Portimao blue roof gloss black. Looks sick, images will follow.

I was on the fence with this one (have had roofs done in the past on a few cars) - but now that we have a bunch of new M3 pics for reference I like what I am seeing and will likely wrap my roof soon (in gloss black)
