Great question. It seems grey to me, the word they gave me was all g20 for NA will go to Mexico but they still aren’t ready for xdrive, and may be delayed until my2021 which I guess is next month. Seems like a convenient answer and I don’t think I’ll know until I see the production confirmation.

So how do I track? Is there a site or app that I use? What I do do I need from the dealer?

All M340 builds were never coming from Mexico in the first place. XDrive versions are assembled in Germany, RWD in Mexico.

Yeah we’re all aware, this is recent news as they open after the covid shutdown and news they’ve apparently shared with Canadian dealerships.

More new news... dealer just called me. BMW cancelled my build. The word is any new m340i that hasn’t started production will be cancelled and the customer has the option of a my2021 but we don’t even have those specs yet. They were told my2021 production has been moved from June to August (tbc).

Back to the drawing board!

i have to imagine those 2021 order guides will be out very very soon. Originally 2021 SOP was mid June (not sure what it is now)

Generally speaking, 10% off pre incentives is the target. Some dealerships are dealing with the implications from COVID-19 differently, but I've still seen deals in the 10-11% range, so I think they're still doable.

Thats not bad...about 9.5%. I would do that, especially on a build.

What is the base dealer profit in the US? It’s 7% in Canada with some additional in holdbacks and of course some of the profitable add ons. I assume it’s higher in the US with so many reports of 10%+ on US deals.

Hey guys -

My lease is about to expire on my 2017 340i and I'm going to be looking for a new m340ix. What are all of the rebates that are currently available?

The ones I am tracking:
$1000 lease incentive
$2000 loyalty
$500 USAA

Is there anything else? I'm not a BMWCCA member.

Is anyone able to get 10% off MSRP pre-incentives? What should I shoot for? How is the market currently?

Thanks for the help!

It's market dependent, certain markets are easier to get larger discounts. That being said, 10% off pre-incentive is very attainable on the 3 series. I would shoot for 12% off pre-incentive and be happy with 10%.

I was offered 11% off for an ordered car from MD dealer in April when coronavirus started. Let me know if you want their info.

Update on my prior post (not a frequent poster, but I always like it when people come back and share their deals)

I pulled the trigger on a lease after I found an M340ix with my desired color combo at a local dealer - black on black on black. Sacrificed some options (HK, HUD) that I would have liked, but I'm happy with it.

2020 M340ix; black sapphire/jet black 791M/black Sensatec/black kidney grille/heated wheel, seats/ambient lighting/remote start/park distance control
36/12
MSRP: 60,005
Dealer discount: 6,000
Incentives: 3,500
MF: .00147 (marked up...)
1,500 on delivery (~acquisition and 1st month)
605/month

I'm aware it could have gone lower, but I think it's a pretty fair deal.

I forgot to add that apparently part of the loyalty incentive other than the $2000 towards cap cost is $500 off of your second month's payment. So, my second month will be $105 through BMWFS. I didn't see that mentioned anywhere (maybe I missed it?), so I wanted to share.
