Not sure how it takes 2+ weeks to prepare a car - but i take it from this that it's in the country, so that's a good news story!

Better than my update. My car arrived in Southampton last Friday. Estimated delivery date of 3rd January

Mine has moved to 9646 - open workshop. What does that mean?

Don’t quote me on it but I believe it means it’s in process of having PDI done at Southampton (instead of dealership) - happens quite regularly

My thoughts exactly! So I question them on it and the adviser to refer back to the dealership!

Sounds like it arrived with damage... Something is definitely up if its arrived and you're still not getting it till January!!

Exactly. Mine landed today and my current date to dealer is 12th... See if that changes.

9496 is PDI at Southampton it takes 1 week it was same for me it will then arrive at dealer and they will organise dispatch or collection

Dealer rang today, my car is in Doncaster, heading to them on the 11th then out to me on the 17th December. A nice Christmas present

Colleague took delivery of theirs today - said it was like love at first drive! :P

Time will tell. It was updated to awaiting dispatch to dealer this morning. I was given my number plate by the dealer, I have added it to my parking apps. So the PDI and registration happened in Southampton. So maybe the Genius was waffling. I hope it gets on the truck tomorrow to Coopers Chelmsford, bringing an end to my 3 month wait. I am so done with this Golf GTD!

Class if you get it before Christmas! Problem I have is Arval won’t tell you anything - so it’s just suck it and see for me!
