Guys I found a post here https://cartechnology.co.uk/archive/...ead-63755.html.

It seems that these are all the FDL coding parameters to enable enhanced BT and phone reminder on G30. But I'm not sure what those options are on G20. I'm seriously thinking of starting learning Esys and it seems a lot more easier when you just need to code the FA....

Disclaimer: Don't try those options since those are unverified on G20 and it may mess up some security features etc.

I received the charging tray today and tried to install it. And I have a stupid question.

After removing the cupholder, the plug on the NFC pad seems to be extremely hard to remove, I tried to pull very hard but cannot get it unplugged. This process in the video on youtube seems to be nothing but directly unplug it.

Does anyone have ideas of how to properly unplug that? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I'm not sure if there is any locking mechanism on the plug, and I did try to use the screwdriver to stick and hold into the little hole at the bottom of the plug base though I didn't push it too hard in case of damaging happens.

I may sound a little silly but I finally got the wireless charging pad installed on my second try.

it seems that the plug on the NFC pad got no locking mech, many thanks to Fpangalos for the info!

If anyone feels it's hard to remove that final plug (it is for me), a screwdriver may help a lot as you could pry the plug up by levering the edge with it. Holding your finger at the other side of the plug could prevent uneven force being applied to 2 sides of the plug and making it easier to come out.

At least you got a plug! Where do you get a plug if you don't currently have the NFC pad?

Hi greekcs, I have a question for coding with Esys. I'm a noob on this but I was trying to set up all those software recently according to the listing mentioned in the Esys thread. I didn't hear back from tokenMaster for the Launcher Pro licensing. For the VO coding part (for this case adding 6NW and coding HU_MGU and KOMBI) is it necessary to use Launcher Pro or it could be done w/o it?

Sorry if this has been asked in some other threads. Thank you so much!

Ah. After some experimenting, I finally got the phone reminder to work.

My work computer crashed this afternoon so I turned to chill out and play around with bimmercode during my computer reinstalling the software.

To enable both display option and audio/visual reminder in the gauge cluster, code the following params,

1. BDC -> WcaWirelessChargingAblage-> WCA_ENABLE -> aktiv
2. HU_MGU -> 3000 HMI_SPEECH -> WCA -> aktiv

Then I tested it by turning off engine and pull the door handle, both sound and the popup appeared.

I didn't try to enable the EBT though, looks like bimmercode has not support coding for Bluetooth module on G20 yet.

Is there a comprehensive list of part number revisions?

Any idea what the most recent number is?

Thanks!

Great, thanks!

Looks like I can get one for around $200... or a bit less if I order a few more things to be able to file a VAT refund claim.

It will be a good purchase because my iPhone8's battery is getting wrecked.

No problem! Always out to help others. I want to do this retrofit in my G20 as well.

I bought one off eBay to retrofit, but I'm having a real job trying to find a connector/connecting cable.

Seems to be part no 616033 shown here:

I wasn't able to activate my NFC key card for the first time using the retrofitted wireless charger, so I reinstalled the default NFC plate and activated the NFC key card. After activating the NFC key card, I reinstalled the wireless charger and verified that the NFC key card still worked to unlock the car and start the car. Kinda strange but whatever.

Your Note 10± fits okay in the wireless charger? Do you have any kind of case on it? I have a reasonably slim Spigen case, but I'm worried it might not fit.

I have the Spigen Ultra Hybrid S Case on my Note 10 +; Fits well on the charger with very little wiggle room.

bought my 84-10-9-434-000, from getBMWparts.com - installed during lunch today. Was pretty easy - except for disconnecting and reconnecting the usb power to the cup holder to make it easy to swap charger with nfc pad. works great!! thanks for all of the info!
